EDF 4.1 - Air Raider and its quartet of wonder setups

In EDF 4.1 there's 3 weapons setups that are stellar for the hardest missions. These will make many hard and messy missions easy to handle. And the winners are:

- Epsilon Armored Blast Railgun E, Guard Post M3 and Life Vendor ZD.

This setup will work on missions where you have a reasonable number of NPCs, focusing on keeping them alive. They're reasonably competent with small stuff, and you can deal with big stuff with the Railgun. The Railgun machine guns aren't very good but can still help with small stuff if needed.
Best missions to use: 84 - Scorching, 82 - Battle to the Death, 78 - Heaven's Army and 77 - Fallen Flagship.

- Epsilon Armored Blast Railgun E and dual ZEXR-GUN.

This will work really nicely when you have big stuff to handle, and lots of small stuff that will not come continuously. Pity turrets didn't rebuild in the background like they do in EDF 5.
Best missions to use: 83 - Massive Mobilization , 75 - City Flaws, 69 - Tower Siege, 67 - Giant Ship, 66 - Teeth of the Universe and 61- Bug Tower

Naegling Self-Propelled Rocket XEM and dual Strafe Plan C (Bomber Charon).

Strafe Plan C is no Phobos from 5 but they had a terrific characteristic in 4.1: all, or most, enemies would follow the bombers so you could use the Naegling on them in peace. So if you keep amassing points and sending them, and using Naegling to kill stuff while they do it, some missions will become very easy. When I learned how to use them I even tried to see which missions could be done with this setup. Not a lot unfortunately😋.
Best missions to use: 76 - Monster Camp and 37 - Dense
It's also the best way to solve Demon Army, mission 96 online. 2 AR's with this loadout can make most of this mission a joke, except at the end when it's a pain to kill the flying vehicles that will be under the map.

Almost, almost managed to do Waterside Bugs with this setup once but this one is very hard.

- Vegalta AX, Guard Assist Gun G and Life Vendor ZD

- Vegalta AX, Guard Assist Gun G and Power Assist Gun MG

Epsilon is no panacea for every mission. I did come to terms that Vegalta can provide a good solution for some missions, particularly if you need the flexibility of close attack with a few long-range ones. The problem is that it's easy to get destroyed, that's why the Guard Gun is essential, and many times the Life Vendor too. Power Assistant Gun can be crucial in solving a few missions as fast as possible to avoid other issues. Vegalta's bigger problems are the danger of self-damage from using the cannon and its awkward movement.
A late addition to the list, which changed from a trio to a quartet.
Best missions to use: 77 Monster Party, 78 Labyrinth of Light, many of the DLC missions
